Our Church
So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. – Ephesians 2: 19-22
Holy Annunciation Orthodox Church is a mission parish of the Greek Old Calendar Church. Although our mother church is in Greece, we are American in every sense. Our services are in English, although we may throw in a Kyrie Eleison (Lord Have Mercy) every now and then!
We are a true mission, founded in a storefront in Liberty Hill, Texas, and now worshiping in our own space since November 2017. Originally known as St. Andrew Orthodox Church, the parish was given a new name by our Metropolitan when we completed the building of our new temple. Our goal is to bring the Orthodox faith to this little corner of Texas with a community of faithful, committed Christians who seek the faith of the early Church. As a parish, our calling is to be welcoming and available to all who enter our doors.
You don’t have to be Orthodox to worship with us. Bring your questions and your concerns. Pray with us as we all seek to live out our faith.
